Ok you will never guess…I get to teach a craft class for the kids. I’m excited and then after that class I get to teach a leisure education class which I am excited about. So my internship is going well it is really hard when you are sharing your supervisor with another intern though. But she will take off for home in two weeks and it will be all me for the rest of my internship.
So god has been showing me how everything I have done thus far is tying in to therapeutic recreation. I am really excited because I get to relate life problems to the activities I do with the kids, and I have been doing that for years with camp groups and such. There is a lot more he is teaching me but too much to write at this time.
My sister is still having a lot of issues. She is making some poor decisions is how I am perceiving it. And she needs a lot of prayer. My dad went to Spokane for a week he left today so he is with her.
My fellow interns are only here for two more weeks and I am trying to find a way to reach them. It is amazing how different our reactions are to the same interactions with the kids. I just think the opportunities I have been given here are just amazing. But that is not the same reaction that the other interns have. You would think at a Christian treatment facility God would have gotten to them. We were in a CEO meeting and he was talking about the founders and the Christian beliefs that this facility bases itself on and I have been going to chapel with the kids. I actually hit the wall last week with these interns. they have attitudes and sometimes it is hard to take. But I still hope that god will show me how to minister to them in these last two weeks.
I found a good group of people to fellowship with last week. A lot of them I went to high school with and didn’t even know they were Christians it is interesting. so I am greatly blessed that god has shown mw fellowship in billings that I didn’t know egested before.
Please comment if you have any thoughts….I want to know how you all are.

I am so happy for you, and proud of you too! Sounds like your summer has been really awesome and that your internship is a very valuable experience. I'm glad you posted :0)
My own summer is hectic, but I'm enjoying the things I'm doing. I'm a nanny to two boys that I've been working with for a long time, working in a summer school class of special ed first graders, and volunteering at a sports therapy clinic. That's the condensed version :0). It's kind of tiring, but at the end of my day, it's a good sort of tired.
You know, a lot can happen in two weeks. Keep up what you're doing, and remember that you may not be able to see the full extent to what God is doing in people. Be faithful, and He'll take care of the rest!
